GCC Domestic Partners with Jedda Star for UAE's First All-Female EV Ride-Hailing Service

GCC Domestic and Jedda Star launch the UAE's first all-female EV ride-hailing service in Dubai, with Saudi expansion planned for Phase 2. Driver training by Amina AI, customer service by Hayat and Nadia on WhatsApp. No app required.

GCC Domestic has partnered with Jedda Star to launch UAE's first all-female ride-hailing service powered entirely by electric vehicles. The service goes live in Dubai in May 2026 and runs exclusively on WhatsApp and Telegram — no app required.

The partnership at a glance

  • Jedda Star supplies the EV fleet — new-model electric cars for comfort, safety, and zero local emissions, aligned with UAE Vision 2031 and Net Zero 2050 sustainability targets.
  • GCC Domestic supplies the training infrastructure — our AI training agent Amina handles structured onboarding for the all-female driver workforce, covering defensive driving, customer service in Arabic and English, and UAE traffic regulations (RTA).
  • Customer experience runs on WhatsApp + Telegram — Hayat handles passenger requests in Gulf-Arabic, Nadia routes the booking and matches the nearest available driver, and the rider receives a live tracking link in the same chat. No app downloads.

Why an all-female service matters in the UAE

Since the 2018 reforms allowing Saudi women to drive, demand for women-only ride-hailing has steadily grown. Many Saudi women still prefer female drivers — for comfort, for family preference, for cultural fit. Existing global platforms have tried filters, but the supply of women drivers has remained limited and inconsistent. Jedda Star solves the supply side by guaranteeing an entirely female driver workforce trained through our infrastructure.

How GCC Domestic's AI helpers support the service

  • Amina — handles driver onboarding and ongoing training on WhatsApp. Same training engine we use for domestic worker certification across the GCC.
  • Hayat — passenger-facing conversation in Gulf-Arabic. Riders describe their pickup, destination, and preferences in natural Arabic.
  • Nadia — booking and driver-matching layer. Picks the closest available female driver, sends a fare estimate, and confirms the trip.
  • Layla — runs in the background for fleet operations and driver-side coordination, similar to her role with recruitment agencies in our domestic worker network.

What this means for the broader GCC mobility market

This is the first deployment of the GCC Domestic AI stack outside our core domestic worker recruitment business — and it validates that the same infrastructure (Gulf-Arabic NLP, WhatsApp-first delivery, AI training pipelines) can support adjacent service categories where supply-side trust and cultural fit matter as much as speed.
