
The Public Authority for Manpower continues its inspection campaigns and arrests 44 illegal workers in the Al-Naeem Housing Project.


Based on the directives of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and in order to regulate the labor market and ensure that all parties comply with the laws and regulations in force in the State of Kuwait, the Public Authority for Manpower – represented by the joint tripartite committee – carried out an intensive inspection campaign on one of the construction sites affiliated with the Al-Naeem Housing Project. The campaign resulted in the arrest of a number of violating workers who work for unauthorized companies or in professions other than those specified in their permits, specifically for the companies (Arab Contractors – First Group). The results of the campaign were as follows: • (12) workers violating Article (20) (servant) • (1) worker violating (sheep care) • (28) workers affiliated with other companies, not authorized to work on the site. • (3) workers violating the residency law. The Public Authority for Manpower affirms its continued tireless efforts to conduct field inspection campaigns in cooperation with relevant authorities, with the aim of maintaining balance in the labor market, ensuring an organized and safe work environment for all parties, and taking legal action against violators without leniency.
