Worker pays NO fees
By UAE law, the agency may never charge you any fee. If anyone asks, that is illegal — call MOHRE on 600 590 000.
Article 15
Salary paid on time
Your wage must be paid within 10 days of its due date. Keep a record of every payment.
Article 9
12 hours rest per day
You are entitled to at least 12 hours of rest each day, including 8 continuous hours.

1 day off per week
At least one full paid day off every week. This is a minimum — agency contracts may give more.
Article 10
30 days annual leave
At least 30 days of paid annual leave per year, plus a return ticket home every 2 years.
Article 22
End-of-service gratuity
The 2022 law sets no fixed rate yet — check your contract (many use the old rule of 14 days × each year). All your dues must be paid within 10 days of the contract ending (Article 19).
Article 20
Return ticket home
If the sponsor ends your contract, the sponsor pays your ticket home and everything you are owed.

Right to leave when sponsor breaches
If your wage is cut or the sponsor breaks the contract, you may leave 2 weeks after telling MOHRE, keeping your rights. If you are abused, you may leave at once. Go to MOHRE / police / Ewa'a.
