Worker pays NO fees
By UAE law, you NEVER pay any fee to the agency or sponsor. If anyone asks, that is illegal — call MOHRE 80060.
Article 14
Salary paid monthly
Wages must be paid every month via WPS or with a signed receipt. Burden of proof on employer to show payment.
Article 15
12 hours rest per day
You are entitled to 12 hours rest each day, including 8 continuous hours of rest. Maximum work is the remaining hours.
Article 16
1 day off per week
At least one full paid day off every week. This is a minimum — agency contracts may give more.
Article 17
30 days annual leave
After 1 year of service, you get 30 days paid annual leave per year. Burden on employer to prove leave was used.
Article 20
End-of-service gratuity
14 days pay × each year of service. Paid within 14 days of contract end. Variable/commission pay counts (last 6 months avg).
Article 21
Return ticket on you-pay-zero
Sponsor pays your return airfare to your home country at end of contract. Sponsor obligation, not yours.
Article 23
Right to leave when sponsor breaches
If sponsor doesn't pay or abuses you, you may leave employment WITHOUT losing your rights. Go to MOHRE / police / Ewa'a.
